ABSTRACT
Information on the Menominee peoples, who lived in the western Great Lakes region in North America, is presented. The Menominee did hunting, fishing, and gathering for their survival. They wore copper jewelry as well as colorful clothing decorated with porcupine quills, paints, and beads. In 1854, the Menominee moved to a reservation on the Wolf River in Wisconsin.
