ABSTRACT
A profile for Ken Carey, a popular New Age channeler, is presented. It states that Carey shut himself off from larger society in the mid-1970s by moving to a rural setting in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri. His initial contact with the channeling process has made him realize that original communications are nonverbal. Moreover, Carey's channeled material presents an optimistic picture of transformation and progress that are punctuated by a period of uncomfortable change.
