The article presents the highlights of the 56th annual meeting of the Academy of International Business (AIB) held in Vancouver, British Columbia on June 24-26, 2014. Among the topics tackled are cross-cultural competencies, global knowledge management, and responsible leadership and environmental sustainability. The panelists include University of South Carolina's Hildy Jean Teegen, Xiaoyun Chen of University of Macau, and Xin Chen of University of Hong Kong.
