ABSTRACT
Information on the World Psychiatric Association (WPA) Thematic Conference, held in Yerevan, Armenia from August 29-31, 2013 is presented. Topics include mental disorder treatment, the psychological effect of political and economic crisis, and the discrimination suffered by people with mental disorders. Participants of the conference include WPA president Pedro Ruiz, professor Michael Kidd, and World Association for Dynamic Psychiatry (WADP) president Nicolai Neznanov.
