ABSTRACT
The article discusses the highlights of the 134th annual Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) convention held in San Antonio, Texas. Two sessions looked at consumer attitudes toward beef and new beef products in addition to beef production and marketing. Molly McAdams, branding and product expert liaison talked of the value of chuck and round portions of the carcass while analyst Tracy Chapman said that the beef industry's goal is to make meat shoppers feel smart.
