ABSTRACT
Information about the meeting by Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Sultanov that was held in Damascus, Syria is presented. It discussed the developments in the Palestinian issue as well as the situations in Lebanon and Iraq. It highlighted that the two parties agreed on the importance of maintaining stability in Lebanon and stressed the need for Palestinian reconciliation.
