ABSTRACT
Information about the topics discussed during the Industry Growth Forum by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory held on November 2009 in Denver, Colorado is presented. The event focused on the relevance of information technology (IT) in the emergence of alternative-energy markets in the country. According to Cisco Systems Internet Solutions senior director Paul Brubaker, the underlying framework to promote energy awareness to consumers will be the IT industry.
