ABSTRACT
Information about carbon offsetting discussed at the convention of the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA) in Marbella, Spain is presented. First Choice Holidays committed itself to an opt-out carbon offset scheme. Likewise, the ABTA itself said it had teamed up with Association of Independent Tour Operators to launch a voluntary carbon offset levy.
