ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the 18th Symposium of the Democratic Constitutional Rally, which was held in Tunis, Tunisia in November 2006. The topic of the event was "The civilisational dimension in international relations," which was debated by the Africans and Arabs attending the symposium. Tunisia's President Zine Al-Abidine Ben Ali said that mutual understanding and coexistence among all civilizations, cultures and religions was necessary for international stability and security.
