ABSTRACT
The author discusses about the need to deter mass murders in the U.S. since the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut. He believes that the violence in the town, along with a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, and a school in Blacksburg, Virginia, prompt the need for improved gun control and mental health access. The author also encourages the whole entertainment sector to admit its role in promoting violence to its products and forms of media.
