In this article, the author shares his views regarding rights guaranteed to citizens for possession of arms and increase in violence activities in the U.S. He mentions that with increase in crime rates simultaneous increase in number of people with personal firearms has been noticed. Also investigated are various amendments required in the grant of arms to prevent recurrence of mass shooting incident which occurred at the Sandy Hook elementary school in Connecticut in December 2012.
