It is stated that, the Dow Jones industrial average reached the 11,000 points mark in April 2010, and the upsurge was driven by a report stating that inventories and sales increased in April 2010, indicating that the U.S. economy is recovering. As stated, most companies on the Puerto Rico Stock Index finished in positive region in April 2010.
