ABSTRACT
In this article the author discusses the impact of English naturalist Charles Darwin on the people of Latin America. The author notes that the evolution was used by the Latin Americans to whiten their societies, then as a reason to take pride in their mixed lineage. In addition, the author also investigated the last of four pieces on Darwin's global influence.
