In this article the author discusses the health care system in the U.S. He mentions that it is evident that the current employer-based health care finance and delivery system is unsustainable in terms of cost, quality, and accessibility. He presents the amendment to H.R. 3200, America's Affordable Health Choices Act by Representative Dennis Kucinich to permit states to establish their own single-payer systems. He emphasizes that the health care system must address the needs of American people.
