ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the energy polices in Azerbaijan. It states that the energy sector in Azerbaijan is being supervised and managed by the Ministry of Industry and Energy which duties include the energy policy and the exploitation of energy resources. It mentions that the decree signed in February 2005 centers on the creation of hydrocarbons and energy for 2005-2015. It adds that the programme formed in October 2004 aims to use alternative energy sources and renewables.
