An interview with Yasser Arafat, chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), is presented. He says that the aims of the PLO are to return to their homeland, establish an independent state and have the right to self-determination. He cites that the Palestinian issue is crucial to the interests of the U.S. He mentions that Palestinians are not recognized by many countries despite having one of the highest education rate in the Middle East.
