Chester Higgins Jr. and Laylah Amatullah Barrayn in Conversation with Qiana Mestrich

An interview with Chester Higgins Jr., staff photographer at "The New York Times" since 1975, and Laylah Amatullah Barrayn, She Shootin' Collective co-founder, is presented. Barrayn stated that her mother's interest in photography drew her to the medium of photography. Higgins said that he realized that until he discovered other people's photography, he had never really never seen photography. The author says that Barrayn and Higgins have a connection with family and photography.
