ABSTRACT
An interview with Patricia Schiller, founder of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) is presented. When asked what motivated her to start the organization, she referred to her days working at the Legal Aid Society where she discovered how little people acknowledge the reality of failing marriages. Moreover, she added that the very objective of the organization is accreditation where it acts as a platform to set up standards and training.
