ABSTRACT
Presents an interview with MIT linguistics professor Noam Chomsky, a leading critic of U.S. foreign policy and militarism. On September 20, 2006, Chomsky's fame increased when Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, addressing the United Nations General Assembly, held up and recommended Chomsky's 2003 book, "Hegemony or Survival: America's Quest for Global Dominance (The American Empire Project)." The interview focuses on Chomsky's views on the role of religion in domestic and international politics.
