The article presents an interview with Mel Levine, pediatrician, author, and founder of the nonprofit institute All Kinds of Minds. Topics discussed include the why he believes the most important thing to know about a child is their strengths, the importance of demystifying children, whether people are born with strengths or if they can develop them, whether or not schools emphasize correcting weaknesses too much, why he opposes students being held back, and his opinion of Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences.
