ABSTRACT
The article presents an interview with Rick Bourke, a player of Rugby League football team Cronulla Sharks. When asked that how did he came to play in the 1973 grand final as a 19-year-old he said no-one was more shocked than him. He came to grade and played one game that year when their fullback Warren Fisher was injured. Warren punctured his lung in the first half when his captain-coach, Tommy Bishop, came up to him and said that he was on. On asking that why did he left to play his final season with Rugby League football team South Sydney Rabbitohs he replied that Sharks were having money troubles and he thought that after serving ten years he was deserving better.
