ABSTRACT
This article presents an interview with Israel's Tzipi Livni. She explains how she concluded that the Jewish will only rule over part of Israel and not the part where others live. She has always thought there was a need to divide the land, but not the way the Labor party did it. Being former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's close colleague, she is a natural successor to lead his new Kadima party. She thinks Sharon's most important contribution was the disengagement of Israelis from Palestinian territory.
