ABSTRACT
This essay shows a reflection of the author's addiction to reading. She had a preference for fiction over non-fiction books and most were books written by woman about girls. After moving to Australia at age six she learned English and began reading many books about girls. It was these novels that allowed her to submerge into other worlds, another life or even for a moment become another person. It is this type of reading that inspired her the most.
