ABSTRACT
The article discusses the evolution of the eye. According to the author, a report titled "Optical Fibre Cells Transform Our Weird, 'Backward' Retinas," by Israeli neurophysicists, is reigniting the debate between creationists and evolutionists concerning intelligent design (ID). Topics include an overview of the anatomy of the retina and the Israeli team's research, which creationists claim coincides with their belief regarding ID.
