ABSTRACT
The author expresses his opinion with regard to building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. According to the author, this wall disrupts human communities as it cuts city in half and isolates families and friends on opposite side. The author mentions that building this wall could also have ecological consequences because of the effect it can cause to the habitat and migratory routes of jaguars, pygmy owls and reptiles. The author wonders why this wall is being built despite of the facts that it is expensive, upsets communities and damages ecosystems.
