ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the moral and practical doubts behind carbon-offsetting. It is said that offsetting is just laziness when it comes to reducing the environmental footprint of business or individuals. However, the author points out that although carbon trading appears to be a temporary fix, it provides insight to individuals and organisations of the impact they are having on the environment.
