ABSTRACT
The article reflects on the stand of U.S. President George W. Bush concerning the conflict between Israel and Palestine. Comments are made on contradictory statements of Bush regarding the conflict at a speech in Annapolis, Maryland and in Israel. Bush has been criticized for playing the role of a judge in a joint statement that Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas signed, related to obligations of road map.
