ABSTRACT
The article reports on the Annapolis, Maryland Middle East peace talks in November and discusses whether they were successful or not. The author points out that even though leaders Ehud Olmert and Mahmoud Abbas made diplomatic progress, the establishment of a stable Palestine state alongside Israel still will not solve the Middle East's problems. There still will be trouble from Osama bin Laden and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's political factions.
