ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the action of the Florida Department of Corrections toward its strict implementation of policy. She relates the incident that disciplines eight correctional officers for allowing a same sex wedding ceremony on March 17, 2007 at Lowell Correctional Institution, the prison for women. She appreciates the stands of the Florida Department of Corrections against clear prison perils such as drugs, gangs and lesbian nuptials.
