ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the comment of "Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine" regarding the reformation at Janus Capital Group Inc. in the U.S. According to the periodical, the firm appears to be rising out of "purgatory" for the first time since the bear market of 2000-2002 and the mutual fund trading scandal that damaged its image. It adds that investors have stopped their massive withdrawals, apparently buoyed by improved performance and change in leadership within the firm.
