ABSTRACT
The author asserts that John Antioco, chairman and chief executive officer of the Blockbuster Entertainment Group, saved the company from business failure. He recalls the first big decision that Antioco made as head of Blockbuster. He states that Antioco tried anything and everything to keep the company afloat amidst the declining rental market. He maintains that Antioco will leave Blockbuster a rich legacy.
