ABSTRACT
The article comments on how the minimum-wage laws affect the youths and the racial minorities in the U.S. According to the author, the youth bears the heaviest burden because they are low-skilled due to their age, immaturity, and lack of work experience. He also emphasizes that the blacks and Hispanics are also among these workers due to racial discrimination and other socio-economic factors. He also notes that the abolition of the minimum wage would be a major step toward economic justice.
