ABSTRACT
Presents an editorial on the killing of Hamas leader, Sheik Ahmed Yassin in Gaza. Belief that the oddest thing about the commentary following the killing was the assertion in the Arab world and much of Europe that the "rules of engagement" between Israel and the Palestinians had been breached by the assassination and had cross the lines of conflict; Reasons the author doesn't believe there were any lines to cross; Background on Yassin and what is and isn't known about his ties to various terrorist acts; Contention that not only did the Gaza sheik have no mercy for Israelis, but that he had no mercy for his own people either as shown by the youth of willing suicide bombers.
