ABSTRACT
The article presents a forecast on the political risks in Austria. According to the author, an SP�-�VP alliance will encourage stable policies of modest economic reform. The government will focus on reforms intended to improve macroeconomic stability. It will also favor tax cuts together with stricter controls on spending. Economic growth will be controlled by domestic consumption and investment.
