The article focuses on the short term risk for investment in Iran. Sanctions have been imposed on Iran by the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) due to its nuclear programme and the deadline to comply with the resolution of the UNSC is February 20, 2007. About 150 parliamentarians have signed a letter which criticizes the economic policies of the administration.
