ABSTRACT
A case study of a 29 year old male patient who presented to physicians with symptoms of diarrhea, fatigue and lower limb edema is presented. A discussion of diagnostic testing which was conducted on the patient, which resulted in him receiving a diagnosis of scurvy which had been caused by a self imposed diet with no fruits or vegetables, is presented.
