ABSTRACT
The article presents a case study of advertising approaches that led to reelection of Nevada Senator Harry Reid. Campaign supporters of Reid devised three approaches for the 2010 midterm elections, which include paid media for the story of political career of Senator Reid, utilizing his speeches to benefit inhabitants of Nevada, and turning the senatorial race as an option. The approaches were also applied on the advertisement "Este" against the senatorial opponent of Reid, Sharon Angle, concerning Hispanics living in Nevada.
