ABSTRACT
The article describes the case of the retail market in Ukraine. It is noted that the country is emerging to take center stage with retailers and investors. The absence of experienced retail developers operating in the market means an acute shortage of European class A shopping centers throughout the country. Foreign investors continue to see great potential in Ukraine, with investment rising 60% in 2007 to $9.2 billion.
