ABSTRACT
Information on legislations protecting endangered species taken from a chapter of the book "Endangered Species Handbook" is presented. Some of these are the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flaura (CITES), the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA), Lacey Act-Feather Trade and the Humane and Healthful Transport for Wild Mammals and Birds.
