ABSTRACT
The article discusses the release of a guidance by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service pertaining to the Affordable Care Act. Notice 2014-76 is reported to list hardship exemptions available for federal income tax returns under Section 5000A of the Tax Code. It has also been announced in Revenue Procedure 2014-62 that premium tax credits and contribution percentage have been indexed while TD 9705 has finalized regulations for the individual mandate.
