Ulcerative Cutaneous Nodule as a Presenting Feature of Recurrent Thyroid Carcinoma

The article describes the case of a 71-year-old man with papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) who was presented with a bleeding ulcerative nodule in the neck. Topics covered include the findings of the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan and chest skiagram, the palliative excision of the nodule after a cytology proof of an adenocarcinoma and the cutaneous sites of metastasis from carcinoma thyroid.
