ABSTRACT
The article discusses issues related to safety of nuclear plant with special reference to that located in San Onofre. It is noted that Southern California Edison officials conducts meetings to explain basics of nuclear power, working of dry casks and how utilities giants can decommission the plant. It is stated that forthcoming meetings in San Juan Capistrano will discuss emergency preparations and the long-term storage of radio waste.
