ABSTRACT
The article presents a study by non-governmental organisations HelpAge International and Handicap International on how displacement affects older Syrian refugees who have disabilities and injuries. Topics discussed include the World Health Organization's (WHO) "World Report on Disability" on the incidence of disability among refugees, the challenges facing impaired refugees during activities of daily living (ADL), and how the Syrian conflict influences the refugees' psychological health.
