ABSTRACT
The article discusses the Arab cultural concepts of al-Nakhwa and al-Rojoula in relation to the struggle of Palestinian Arabs in the Gaza Strip against Israeli armed forces in 2014. Arab countries are criticized for lack of solidarity compared to other countries like Ecuador in this continuation of the First Palestinian Uprising of 1987. It is claimed that Israel did not win its Operation Protective Edge because the objectives of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were not achieved.
