Study on Influence of Ultrasonic Disintegration on Anaerobic Digestion Performance of Urban Sludge

With the dosis of a certain proportion of ultrasound to disintegrate urban sludge, and the application of anaerobic digestion technology, this article aims to analyze and compare the variations of gas output, gas exploitation rate, VS degradation rate and the composition of biogas produced, making beneficial exploration on the reclamation and reduction of urban sludge. According to the experimental result, the application of Ultrasonic disintegration technology can increase the gas production of sludge anaerobic digestion by 17.41% per day, the gas exploitation rate by 16.39%, VS degradation rate as 25.49% and methane content in produced gas as 2.62%, in average, respectively. Ultrasonic disintegrate sludge technology can effectively improve gas production and methane production, optimizing the resourcilization of municipal sludge. And the VS degradation rate is improved as well, being in favor of sludge reduction.
