The article offers the author's view regarding the move of two U.S. companies such as U-Haul and United Airlines Inc. to help the environment but ask extra payment from customers. She states that U-Haul asked its customers to pay an additional fee to help them reduce the negative impact of their business. She mentions the Carbon Offset Program of United Airlines which gives opportunities for travelers to purchase carbon offsets aimed at reducing the environmental impact caused by air travel.
