The article discusses human cognitive powers being surpassed by the world of information, with sharing of over 100,000 tweets on online social networking and microblogging service Twitter and almost 250,000 photos on online mobile photo-sharing and social networking service Instagram per second. It discusses how whenever one visits a website, an algorithm takes everything known about the person, visits an online advertising exchange, offers the spot to bidders, and serves it, information placed into a narrative, and application startup Jetpac, that analyzes all photos publicly available on Instagram to determine location, distinguish between locals and tourists, and difference between leisure and business travelers.
