ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the responsibility of the state in regulating gender stereotyping in the U.S. Topics discussed include laws made for restricting the state from enforcing sex-role stereotypes, rules and laws made for eliminating all forms of discrimination against women and the importance of gender equality in the development of society. It also discusses employment discrimination, maternity leave, and reproductive rights.
