Reports that the United States and Mexico have joined forces to purchase a limestone cliff in El Taray, Mexico, a major nesting site of the rare maroon-fronted parrot. Provision of funding for research on the animal; Birds' dependence on the pinon pine cones from the temperate-climate forests of western Mexico for food and shelter; CONABIO as official owner of the cliff.
