Work Begins on Pioneering Plastics-to-Fuel Plant in Southeast Akron

According to James Garrett, chief executive officer of recycling firm Vadxx Energy LLC, the plant will be recycling facility for otherwise nonrecyclable plastic. The plant aims to melt 20,000 tons of plastic a year and turn it into liquid fuel using a patent-pending process.
